Palestinian man shot dead in West Bank raid; body held by Israeli military

Israeli authorities assert the individual was armed and posed a threat, while Palestinian sources indicate a siege and partial demolition.
Concurrently, military operations spanned multiple areas, including Anata and the Shu'fat camp, where entry points were sealed off. In Dura and Hebron, at least ten individuals were detained, including a father and son and two previously released prisoners. Additionally, water infrastructure in Anata was bulldozed, and demolition work proceeded in Masafer Yatta.
The withholding of the deceased's body and the coordinated closures could heighten tensions in the northern West Bank, potentially disrupting daily life and access to essential services for residents in Anata and Shu'fat.
