Belgrade gathering honors convicted war criminal ahead of burial

A ceremony took place in Belgrade on Saturday to honor Ratko Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb military chief convicted of genocide and war crimes, two days before his scheduled burial. Dozens of former soldiers, relatives, and officials attended the event. Mladic died while serving a life sentence for his role in the Srebrenica massacre and other atrocities during the 1990s Bosnian War.
