Seahawks Add Veteran Safety to Practice Squad as Nickelback Question Looms

Seattle signed safety D'Anthony Bell to its practice squad, releasing undrafted rookie edge rusher Marvin Jones Jr. to make room. The move comes as nickelback Nick Emmanwori is considered questionable for the season opener against New England. Bell previously competed for the nickel role during training camp and was among the better performers in preseason.
