Cybercab Launch: Tesla's Driverless Taxi Debuts in Austin with Efficiency-Focused Design

Tesla has launched its Cybercab robotaxi in Austin, Texas, with 45 vehicles available for hailing through the company's app. The two-seater lacks a steering wheel, pedals, and mirrors, and features a drag coefficient below 0.20. It uses a 48-kWh battery with 4680 cells and is built using a new unboxed manufacturing process and reaction injection molding for its body panels.
